February
Valentine Dinner/Dance – Youth host a special dinner and dance for members of the congregation. This is always a much appreciated event.

May
Scholars Lunch– United Methodist Women host a lunch for MVISD scholars each
year.

National Day of Prayer
- The Franklin County observance of National Day of Prayer is held in the Family Life Center on May 1

Rainbow Graduation
– Graduation Ceremonies are held each year for the children in our Preschool/DayCare Program

Summer
Confirmation – Confirmation Sunday is a day set aside to honor our confirmation class

Vacation Bible School
– Volunteers provide VBS for the children of the church and the community every Summer

Youth Mission Trips

Methodist Camps for children, Junior High and Senior High Students

October
Trunk or Treat - This is a wonderful event when adults dress up in Halloween Costumes. They come to the parking lot with trunks full of goodies for the children. A meal and other activities follow.

Pumpkin Patch - Church Outreach opportunity to our local elementary school. Teachers are invited to sign up their classroom to attend and bring sack lunches spending about 2 hours in the "patch" playing pumpkin games, taking a hay ride, making trail mix and having story time. Also, each student may pick out their own pumpkin to take with them for a minimal cost..

Community Thanksgiving Lunch - For over 25 years, lunch has been provided on Thanksgiving Day for anyone in the community that wants to come.

December
Cantata – the chancel choir presents a Christmas Cantata at both worship services the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of December.

Christmas Eve Services – Two services provided: a late afternoon service and an early evening service
